Zoë’s Place to take to the road’s of Costa Rica!
Selwyns are delighted to be supporting children’s hospice charity Zoë’s Place this November.
What does the Zoë’s Place charity do?
Established in 1995, Zoë’s Place provides specialist palliative respite and end of life care for children aged 0-5 . Their nursing staff specialize in severe/terminal neurological, respiratory or degenerative physical conditions. The charity currently provides care and support to 83 children and their families from across the North West.
All of the care they provide is completely free of charge to families. This is thanks to donations and fundraising efforts like these!
What are they doing this November?
This November will see a team participating in a sponsored bike ride across Costa Rica! Starting in San Jose, they will set off on a 250 mile ride across the country over some very difficult terrain.
This fundraising will contribute towards projects such as building a new end of life facility extension facility. Donations made will help the charity to achieve this and will mean that they can provide more care to children who need it the most!
A message from Zoë’s Place
“We would like to say a huge thank you to Selwyns Coach hire for supporting Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice by providing a coach for our upcoming Bike Costa Rica overseas challenge. Selwyns has been a long time support of our hospice and has provided many in-kind donations such as this that we appreciate very much. Thanks you Selwyn and the team for your support”
