The role:
We are looking to recruit a driver to operate a factory transport contract out of our Runcorn depot. The role involves driving a double decker bus to collect passengers at the end of their working shift and driving them to Liverpool. There is no cash handling and all passengers are pre-booked and will scan onto the vehicle using an app.
This contract operates between 22:00 and 01:00, Monday to Friday. Occasionally there may be additional weekend shifts available but these will be agreed in advance.
You will sign on at 11:30 and go to Liverpool for 12:54 to complete 4 pick-ups. You will then return to the yard at 14:15 and sign off at 14:30.
You will sign on again at 22:15 and drive to the factory to arrive at 23:10. You will then do 4 drop-offs in Liverpool at 00:10 and return to the yard at 01:00 for an 01:15 sign off.

You must meet the following essential criteria:
- A full, UK PCV (Category D) Licence
- At least 12 month’s driving experience.
- A valid Digital Tachograph card (not essential at application stage, but must have one prior to start on duty)
- A Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- A maximum of 6 penalty points
- No unspent criminal convictions
