PCV Driver (School Term Time Contract)

Based: Runcorn Depot
Hours: Guaranteed 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday
Pay: £373.69 per week (annualised and paid 52 weeks per year whilst only working term time)
Overtime during school holidays and weekends available (but not guaranteed)

The role:

We are looking to recruit a driver to operate a school route based from our depot in Runcorn, Cheshire, to collect and drop students. There is no cash handling.

This contract operates a split shift from 06:30-10:00 and 14:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday. Occasionally there may be additional weekend/none school term time shifts available but these will be agreed in advance.

You must meet the following essential criteria:

A full, UK PCV (Category D) Licence
At least 12 month’s driving experience.
A valid Digital Tachograph card (not essential at application stage, but must have one prior to start on duty)
A Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
A maximum of 6 penalty points
No unspent criminal convictions
We will carry out an enhanced DBS check
