PCV / Yard Night Cleaner

Our excellent quality and service is maintained with a modern fleet of vehicles, operating from 2 depots and an outstation in Milton Keynes which are backed by a great team of experienced staff who are dedicated to the safety and comfort of our customers.

An opportunity has arisen a PCV / Yard Night Cleaner who will be based at our depot in Sharston Industrial Estate, Manchester.

Available shift is 22:30 start until 10:30 following day on a 4 on 4 off basis.

Please note you must have previous industrial cleaning experience to apply for this role, ideally in the bus and coach industry.

Professionally clean Passenger Carrying Vehicles to a high standard including the interior, exterior and onboard lavatories
Ensuring the depot is clean (including drivers facilities) and safe
Some light yard maintenance
Liaising with Managers regarding stock control of cleaning supplies
Shunting vehicles around the yard area (training will be provided)
Fuelling vehicles
Ensuring a high level of health and safety is adhered to at all times
Communicate effectively with all other staff including Managers and Drivers
Any ad-hoc work as required

Who you are:

You will be an enthusiastic, optimistic, resilient, and flexible individual with the ability to provide the high standards of cleanliness required in this physically demanding role.

You must also hold a current driving licence and ideally have a PCV licence.

Hourly rate is £13.10 (£14.19ph if you hold a current PCV Driving Licence).

4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Hours are 22:30 – 10:30 (1hr deducted for break)
